Children’s bodies are not the same as adults and therefore require specialist assessment for injuries. While children may experience the same mechanism of injury as an adult, whether while playing sport or during day to day life, it can often result in a different effect on their body. This is due to the fact that their musculoskeletal system is still developing, and therefore their physiology is different. Other painful conditions can result from sudden changes in a child’s growth or hormonal changes which can be identified by a Physiotherapist and best the management and recovery strategies can be advised.

For those who have private medical insurance, please provide your insurance details prior to attending your appointment. We are recognised by most major insurance companies so please contact us prior to your appointment to confirm we are recognised.
