Paediatric Physiotherapy at Flawless Physio
Children’s bodies are not the same as adults and therefore Paediatric Physiotherapy requires specialist assessment for injuries. While children may experience the same mechanism of injury as an adult, whether while playing sport or during day-to-day life, it can often result in a different effect on their body. This is due to the fact that their musculoskeletal system is still developing, and therefore their physiology is different. Other painful conditions can result from sudden changes in a child’s growth or hormonal changes which can be identified by a Physiotherapist and best management and recovery strategies can be advised.
